A witty and resourceful, kind and life-affirming film from the director of the films Chocolat and Hachi: A Dog’s Tale, it tells about young people who are sent to Yemen to introduce sports competitions in salmon fishing there. The crazy idea of the local sheikh seems completely absurd, but the British authorities see in it almost unlimited financial opportunities. A rather strange job brings the young people responsible for the project together, and over time they become very close.
